Kiteboarding at Rosebud Beach

Went for a walk at Rosebud Beach over the weekend and came accross these Kiteboarders

Took a movie with my camera For some reason you lose the right hand side of the video so you might want to click on this link and view it through YouTube

Click and enlarge the photos below

These guys were having a ball

Enlarge this and see how high he is out of the water

It was so cold and windy on the beach

Can't beat a walk on an Aussie beach during Winter - beautiful skies and fabulous water

The water's so clear, and the sky... that sliver of gold at the horizon, underneath the storm clouds... gorgeous! I love watching boarders, imagine it to feel very like flying. And love the name Rosebud Beach.

Peaceful day,
Julia~

They're great to watch arent they!
Some of them go extremely fast and as you saw, they fly!
It looks very cold there.

Beautiful photos Alison. I also think winter at the beach is best, no more tourists and beautiful sunsets. :) Take care, Martha

Great photos and video, how cold does it get there in winter? Not very cold if they are playing in the water?
