WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY

Check Barbara Jacksiers Blog for this weeks WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY

A STROLL ON MOUNT MARTHA BEACH
Sunday was a beautiful sunny Spring Day. As my kids all live quite close we decided to meet up and go for a walk on the beach. Getting 3 out of my 4 kids together with the grandkids was fun.

Some of my family
Lachlan,Chloe,Max,Melanie,Daniel,Amy,Riley
(Lachlan and Chloe are Melanie's children and Riley is Amy's)

Riley running along the beach shouting 'Wait for me'

Look how well I have those grandkids trained. Heads down, butts up looking for treasure. Think their Mums now see what they do when we look after them. Lots of beach walking and playing.

Lachlan and Daniel checking out the kayak.

I think Max and I might get kayaks this summer

My son Daniel walking along the beach with Riley.

He loves his little nephew

Alison, how precious the children are~ Seeing them in warm attire is funny cause here kids have been wearing coats and jackets for over a chilly month! Enjoy some sun for me! Lori

How inviting. I love the beach, and these photographs are stunning. Your kids are so adorable. I can't wait to have Grand kids. But my daughters are only 21 and 18. I borrow my friend's in the meantime.

Have a great day. We are in the middle of fall and soon the snow will come. I need to get on a plane and fly to your neck of the woods.

I have palm trees and you have beach cabanas. Now, if we could only combine the two, it would be heaven.

Happy belated birthday.....I always love when someone from so far away finds me....my mom gave me a book on sea glass for my birthday. I think it is amazing how we are so far away geographically but our sea glass is the same!

Hi Alison, have discovered your blog. I used to live in Cambridge Parade Mt Martha for a short time as a child, c.1980's, and the photos made my heart ache in memory of this wonderful place. I am told it has changed enormously and I have not been back for many years. But your photos made me think perhaps it has not changed too much, cheers Katherine

There's something innocent and hopeful about both the shore and children. Your photos capture it perfectly.

What a fun family outing! Your photos captured the beauty of the day, the beach and the closeness of your family. Riley is so cute!
I know you will love having kayaks...we're getting them, too...next spring.

I absolutely love the colorful beach cottages. You don't see that on our beaches.
