WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY AND MORE

WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY
Once again Barbara Jacksier is hosting Waterside Wednesday.
Go check it out
ROUGH WEATHER ON TUESDAY
These photos were taken on Tuesday.
It doesn't seem to matter what the weather is like I seem to go to the beach every day. It calms the mind and is a great place to clear the head.

The poor beach is taking a real beating on these days

Just look at the water splashing over the wall

Poor old beach huts

Where is that sand???
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT
WHAT IS IN MY SHOP
If you want stripes of any color put on them just let me know and I can do it for you

I love the beach, honey. Just to sit and look at the waves does calm me but since being swept away in Ixtapa Mexico several years ago I never go in the water any more. It was frightening and I cleaned sand from "private places" for 6 weeks, sugar! Uuuuggghhhhh.....

Connie

Beautiful post Alison. It shows so well that the beach is beautiful and worth a visit any time of the year and not just in Summer!

Ya'll are really having the weather... hopefully the sand will replenish quickly. But wicked weather does make for dramatic photos.

I still wish I was down the coast, one day wasnt enough! Those poor little huts, I hope they plan to move them before they get washed away!
Great photos, Sue

How wild has the weather been?? Look at those little huts. Looks chilly though. Not long now until that water is warm :) Bring on the summer!

Thanks for joining Waterside Wednesday, your photos are amazing. Getting shots like yours makes having to stay on shore almost worth it.

BEAUTIFUL! Your photos of the surf are magnificent! There is something special about watching waves...

I love sunsets too. (Check my Lake Harris post...I goofed when entering Waterside Wed. and I think it posted A Dog Day Afternoon).

Have a wonderful day!

I love the beach because it's usually so calm and peacful. The first few pictures are a great reminder that the sea is as dangerous as it is beautiful.
Great pictures!

Those beach huts are awfully close to the water! To me also..., nothing clears the mind more than a walk on the beach and looking out over the open ocean. I always love it on the beach, except maybe during a winter storm.

Beautiful pictures of the beach. Such nice daytime and nighttime visits. The heavy weather does make for nice shots. Thanks for visiting my blog for Waterside Wednesday...so I could come by and see you!

Hi Alison

Your photos are gorgeous as usual!
Unlike our weather which hasn't been gorgeous at all, today was an exception, but wind and rain forcast once again for the weekend

I love that boat - I told you that before!! love the idea of selecting a personal sail, maybe even a personalised number written on with a fabric pen, I remember once I sold a yacht/beachy painting to someone and they requested the number of their yacht on the sail of the yacht in my painting

have a good weekend
xo

BEAUTIFUL photos Alison! Those little beach huts are just adorable. There are some similar looking ones not too far from me in San Diego... but not as cute and colorful as these. You really captured some beautiful shots. Thank you for sharing! Now I am off to check out your store. :)
