LAST DAY OF WINTER ON MY BEACH
Of course I went to the beach today. I made some soup and a sandwich for Max and I to take to the beach for lunch.
We had a ball. The tide was right in and we walked along the beach dodging the water. I wanted to take some photos for this weeks Waterside Wednesday. So come back for some more photos on Wednesday too.
The poor beach huts were getting swamped
TOMORROW IS SPRING
Just a pretty blossom ready for Spring
Love the colour of this one
My roses were pruned within an inch of their life.
The new leaves are starting to emerge.
Gorgeous white primulas still in flower
My Japanese maple is just starting to get its leaves.
I hardly ever see this camellia as it is down a sideof the house I hardly ever walk down.
Just look what I have been missing
Beautiful climbing Banksia Rose
Don't forget to come back Wednesday for Waterside Wednesday and see the fun we had at the beach today.

Strange, we're just starting our fall and winter and it's cold when we get winter, sugar. Odd that you're looking forward to summer and it's cold.
xoxo,
Connie
Alison, I just love your beach and what fun to have a picnic. I'm sure you are looking forward to spring. I am so looking forward to fall, it's my favourite time of year.

I just cannot get enough of the photos of your beach, so I will probably back on Wednesday! Though I don't hate autumn I'd rather welcome spring too, enjoy!
Ah, and here we're getting ready for fall. I envy you the springtime pleasures of the first growth of pretty little blooms. And that first photo: ah, superb! We shall compare seasons as we go along!

Hi Alison,
I'm so happy that winter is over for you. I never really realized that your spring is our fall (although we still have 3 weeks to go until it's official). I just love spring flowers. We'll be putting out our pumpkins while you are displaying your pretty flowers!

Your photos of the beach and now these of the spring blossoms are breathtaking. I think it is so amazing that we experience the seasons at opposite times, but we can enjoy the other through our blogs. xo rachel
I love soup for lunch, yum. Look at all the loveliness here, just so beautiful.
Hi Alison, the photos are wonderful! What are the beach huts used for? Are they privately owned? They're adorable and I'd love to know more about them!
