THEIR HANDS IN MINE

THE FUTURE IS IN THEIR HANDS
Being a Grandma sometimes I worry what the future holds for my grandbabies.
My 3 grandbabies are all precious to me and as I hold their hands I wonder how they will look, where they will be and what direction their lives will take in the future.
All I can hope is that the loving family environment we have created for them sets a good foundation for their future.
Grandma and Lachlan 6 years old

Grandma and Chloe 4 years old

Grandma and Riley 7 months old

I took these photos so as I can remember how small they all were.

Maybe they can look back at them in years to come and know how much their Grandma loved them

You "sound" so young it's hard to imagine you being a grandmother but that's what people tell me also. I think it's the "heart" that keeps me young. I love baby hands, cheeks and bums! Precious post, sweets! Smoochie their little cheeks for me!!
Hugs to another grandma,
Connie

Such a sweet post! I'm not a Grandma, but an Auntie. And it does happen so fast. Seems like she was just eight and being silly and now she just walked arcross the stage (grad) and is getting her flrst place on her own. Time does fly.

What a beautiful post!
those precious little hands,
I was just looking at my little guys baby clothes and I told him 'Mommy wants you to stop growing! I want you to be my little boy forever"
He responded by saying "Mom I have to grow up to be a responsible man!"
it was so cute.
smiles,
Sandy

What a gorgeous post Alison. You should really frame these photographs all in one lone frame. A beautiful keepsake, beautiful thoughts. Karen

This is so touching and what a wonderful treasure for you to have and share with them as they grow.
They are Blessed to have a wonderful G'ma like you!!
(I would have to frame these and have them on display to look at every day.)

I love the dimples on babies hands. As my children grew I always watched to see when the dimples disappeared. Your grandkids are lucky to have you. I wish my Mom had lived to be the kind of Gram you are. And I think Lachlan is a wonderful name. Just wonderful.

That is beautiful. What lucky grandbabies to have a grandma that cares so deeply for them. I am not a grandmother yet but I feel the same way about my babies.

Have a wonderful day.
