CHANDELIER

When is a chandelier not a chandelier??
When it looks like this!

I have this light fitting in my bathroom. When I bought it I got a couple as they were on sale and I thought I might use them somewhere.
So… I was thinking I would put it outside in the new pergola!!!!

I also bought some of these cute little paper lanterns. I have 4 pale pink and 4 white/pink/green ones. They are run by a couple of AAA batteries. I thought that I could just hang them up when I want to entertain and that way they will stay in good condition

LACHLAN AND CHLOE HAD A SLEEP OVER
Love these photos that
Max took of Lachlan and Chloe on Tuesday night.
Walking on the beach at Mt Martha
Walking on the jetty at Balcombe Creek

It is always fun having them stay over

Thanks for the award Alison, I'm very proud to have received it. Love your outside lanterns, good thinking just put them out on special occasions. Now I'm wondering if I've seen that beach before (only joking) aren't we lucky, only trouble is you can't get near it during the day at this time of the year, never mind we'll have it all to ourselves soon.

Thank you for your sweet words on my new blog post! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your paper lanterns. I am a fan of paper lanterns, too, but I have yet to find any pale pink or pink/white/green lanterns! I hang mine in my trees and over my front porch. Easy decor and so charming!

Dear Alison,

I think the beach huts are a unique characteristic of the beaches in your neck of the woods :) They are beautiful and so are the pictures of the children.

By the way , the lanterns look great in your new pergola . How clever that it runs on batteries. Adding the chandelier is going to sparkle the outdoor area more.

chat soon, Adla
