Reading about the quilt making really took me back to my own childhood... guess lots of Grandmothers used newspaper templates.
I bet your mom is pleased to know that you've followed her passion... to find your own, & to honor her.

just read your lovely note on crescendoh and wanted to stop by to say thank you for sharing...i am a mama of 5 who are still home and take my duty as mother very seriously, but LOVE to create. i also lost my mom 6 years ago..(in my 30.s) and that devastated me...so i felt close to many of the heart felt things you shared.
