FISHERMAN'S BEACH MORNINGTON

After a cold Winter morning there is nothing like going to a local beach for a stroll in the afternoon sun
Below is a photo of Fisherman's Beach in Mornington (5 minute drive from home)

It is a lovely little beach.
Always seems to be seagulls sitting there waiting to see what the fishermen throw their way

Looks like they are just about walking on water here

They are such amazing birds

This one was a bossy boots, squawking at and chasing away any other birds that came near us.
We enjoyed our afternoon thawing out in the sun.

Are you like me and always throw your chips to the seagull with the one leg?? I think thats how they survive so well lol. Maybe they are actually hiding their other leg ;0)

Your pictures portray a lovely day at the beach. I could almost hear the gulls calling and the waves lapping. What a nice place to take a walk!

Hi Alison
Oh what lovely photos! A cold winter morning stroll sounds wonderful ... we are in the middle of a heat wave/smog advisory and high U.V. Too hot to be outside & not able to take our poor old dog out for his normal walks - had to wait until 8:30pm last night to walk around the block with him and even that was too much - we couldn't wait to get back home and into the air conditioning :-)

Love your seagull pics. You're lucky to have a beach nearby.

What beautiful pictures Alison! I love seagulls...but they are sandwhich stealers! Yup, one took a sandwhich right off my cooler and flew off with it bag and all!

Hi Alison. Thanks for coming by to visit and your sweet compliments on the apron I made for Sarah. The pictures on your blog are so pretty. What I wouldn't give to travel there. I love the vignette of the table in front of the mirror. All that white is just gorgeous. I hope you'll stop by again.

Hugs...Tracy :)
