WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY

ANOTHER BABYSITTING GIG
This week involves lots of Babysitting.
Lachlan and Chloe overnight on Monday night. Then take them to school and pick them up again on Tuesday.
Wednesday morning I pick up Riley and he is here until Thursday night.
After all that I do sleep soundly on Thursday nights.
After an early dinner with Lachlan and Chloe on Monday night we went to Mornington (5 minutes in the car) for them to have a run along the pier
Running on the Mornington Pier

Lets look over here - I see a fish

The wind is blowing us along the pier

Lachlan has his head down and is trying to look between the gaps in the pier to see how many fish are down there

Ooh this looks a bit dangerous with the missing timber

Oh what is a girl to do in the wind???

Lets look down here too!!

So far down there

Wonder what their mother would have thought when we let them climb up here???

Looks like Chloe is about to lean too far
They could see the city of Melbourne from here
They couldn't believe the rubbish that people had thrown in the water and how it ended up washed up on the rocks

Lachlan and Max just 'hanging' around
The kids really enjoyed their little venture to Mornington Pier and after all that running around they slept really well

Hi Alison

Great Photos - as usual!
Love the silvery coloured timber contrast of the pier in contrast with the vibrant colours

Aren't we having perfect weather at the moment, please could it just stay as is!

Your grandchildren are so cute! Love the red hair too! Isn't it great that your grandchildren think it's odd that people throw away their stuff on the beach/in the water? They are raised to take care of their environment, well done already! There should be more people like them (or like you and your children!). Enjoy your perfect wheather and have a nice day!

One of my favorite things is taking my punk to the pier to let him frolic! I get a little nervous when he gets to far over the side...but he seems to know when to stop! Beautiful photos and lots of good memories! ....also makes for good naps!

Oh Alison!
Chloe's red hair is absolutely beautiful!!! She's so fortunate, I'm sooo jealous! We pay LOTS of money to have that color! haha
Your photos are beautiful, makes me want to spend some time near the water. These "Waterside Wednesdays" make me soooo want to get to the beach! The only beach we have here is along the Gulf of Mexico and are nothing pretty compared to what you have there...
ahh, I'll just keep dreaming!!!
Rest up girlie~

I get so nervous on piers and jetties with children! Probably as I am not that confident that if they fell in I would be able to save them!
