GETTING TO CREATE

MY SISTER SUSAN CELEBARATES HER 60TH BIRTHDAY
Saturday my eldest sibling – my sister Susan celebrated her 60th Birthday.I remember her walking me to school on my first day. She was in Grade 6 and I was in ‘Bubs’ that is now called Prep. She has been a very supportive and loving sister.
As part of her birthday gift I made this collage.

It was fun to create it for her.

I put a penny from the year she was born on it too.

She entered her birthday party in style – on the back of a Harley ridden by one of her sons.

FINAL COUNTDOWN

12 days to go until the wedding. Still making some decorations for inside the marquee but other than that I think we are all ready for the big day. Oh no I just remembered we have to copy the music for the bridesmaids and then for Amy to walk down the aisle. One last working bee at Amy and Ryan’s next Saturday and we will be ready for the big day. It is amazing how relaxed Amy is with it all.

Hi Alison, What a lovely collage you made for your sister. I really like the penny in the centre of the flower. Her party entrance was wonderful and I'm sure the party was lots of fun.

Just one more week til the big day. After working so hard you will have to make sure you craft your little heart out.

Hi, Alison,

That collage certainly looks cool, it's good to have a creative sister, I reckon. I love your blog's new look, you must've changed it a long time a go, but I haven't been able to visit many blogs. Have a great time at the wedding.

Allison love the collage and the Harley ride would have been a real thrill for your sister. My mum did the same on her 60th birthday and loved it.

Hi Alison, not long now until the wedding! Hope you have lovely weather and a lovely family day :)

I had to laugh when you emailed about the wine bottles! We don't even drink wine hahaha....but my husband has always wanted a wine rack so he got one! We now have boxes and boxes of wine to fill it up and I guess we can offer it to our friends. But if it was vodka or beer we would have had to make a larger space haha!!
