SHOW US YOUR BUTTONS

BUTTONS
Analise from Sugar Sugar has given us a challenge to ‘show us your buttons’
We were supposed to clean them up BUT no time for that so here are a few.

These Vintage Buttons were given to me by my Aunt and were
sewn onto a little velvet pillow with a gorgeous belt buckle.
These buttons measure one and a half inches

Hi Alison, great buttons I don't sew at all but I do have lovely little pink teapot buttons that I bought on ebay to go with my teapot fabric that I bought which is still sitting in my linen closet waiting for me to decide what I want my mum to sew for me... My mum also had a tin full of lovely old buttons and we used to get in trouble for playing with them but we loved to sit and just look at all the different ones and ask why have you got these what are you going to do with them??? Mum would just reply "I'll use them one day"... (she hasn't yet)

i wanted to thank you for your kind words from my intimate posting on feelings! i'm not sure why it is so hard for me to share my pain, but i am glad i decided to. the positive support only reinforces that choice. on a lighter note, love the buttons you shared. i'm going to share a couple of my favorites that i've found at flea markets. thanks again,
kecia

Hi Alison, like Mel my Mum had a big plastic tuperware container full of buttons, in those days you actually replaced or sewed on missing buttons, not like now I just throw the garment out before I would look for a replacement button let alone actually sewing it on!
