Analise from Sugar Sugar has given us a challenge to ‘show us your buttons’
We were supposed to clean them up BUT no time for that so here are a few.

These Vintage Buttons were given to me by my Aunt and were

sewn onto a little velvet pillow with a gorgeous belt buckle.

These buttons measure one and a half inches

Today 27th March, Max and I celebrate our 32nd Wedding Anniversary

I made this card for Max from a wedding photo and of course on the card are the words

'Love Will Keep us Together'

The song playing ‘Love Will Keep us Together’ by Captain and Tennille was

playing on Max’s car radio on our first date so it is a special song to us

Not bad for a couple that were told we were too young and hadn’t known each other long enough. 4 children and 3 grandchildren later we are still together.

EASTER MONDAY BREAKFAST ON THE BEACH

BREAKFAST

This morning Max and I had breakfast at Mount Martha beach. It was a beautiful spot to sit and have a peaceful breakfast. Max was down there doing a 4 kilometre (2.4 miles) swim with some of his friends. So I thought I would take some breakfast down there for when he finished. I had muesli and yoghurt and Max had 7 vitabrits and a banana followed by some orange juice. After the breakfast we came home and then he went off for an 80 km (50 mile) bike ride.

Max is madly training for his next major sporting event. It is the Australian Ironman on 6th April at Port Macquarie in NSW. In this event he swims 3.8 kilometres(2.36miles) rides 180 kms(112miles) and runs 42.2km(26.2miles) all straight after each other. It is one hell of an event. This year he hopes to finish in 11 hours. This is why we call him Mad Max.

I have been tagged by Sarah of Gypsy Mermaid for the 5 Weird /Crazy Things

I have done a few tags already so it was hard to come up with much. I will just do 5 things that can be answers for both tags.

1. On 27th March Max and I will be celebrating our 32nd Wedding Anniversary.
They said we were too young to be married – 20 and 21 years old.
Mmmm proved them wrong on that one
They said we hadn’t known each other long enough, engaged 6 months after meeting then married 6 months after that.
Mmmm proved them wrong yet again.

2. Have to sleep with the radio on

3. Have a creative space with way too much stuff in it.

4. Hate spiders.

I used to vacuum up Huntsman Spiders then tightly wrap a plastic bag around it – secured with an elastic band, wait for Max to come home and make sure they were dead. Where’s the logic – don’t need it

5. Always left it to the last minute to get to hospital to have my babies.
No 3 was born while I was still in my clothes. No time to do anything other than get out of the car into a wheelchair between contractions then off to the delivery room and hey presto – well not quite but only a short time later out he came.

Daniel celebrated his 27th Birthday on 16th March.

CHLOE TURNS 4

March 6th was Chloe’s 4th Birthday.
As with any little girl or boy for that matter, she got way too many gifts.
I also made her a crown which she loved.
As it was my first attempt at a crown I was really pleased with the way it turned out.

Lots of gift wrapping still on the floor. Fun for her Mummy to clean up.
