WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY

WATERSIDE WEDNESDAY
Barbara Jacksier is holding Waterside Wednesday
Go on over to Barbara's blog and check it out
One of my all time favourite beach theme items
has to be sea glass

I love the look of all the coloured sea glass
in this glass lantern
It looks so fresh and cheerful
sitting on one of my entry tables

Love the colours you can see as you
look down into the top

Love looking into a flickering candle
especially when it is surrounded by seaglass
Don't you just love the colours of the glass

Even in daylight the seaglass looks pretty
with the candle light just shining through

So much pretty seaglass

At night I love the way the candles flicker through the seaglass

I adore the smooth edges!! x

I'm so jealous. Obviously Australian sea glass beachcombers find a wider range of soft blues than Americans. Thanks for joining in my Waterside Wednesdays. Now, you're entered in my Little Fishies giveaway.

Love your 'sea glass' vignette Alison! I think I'll borrow this idea. I have a pretty good stash and the white candle shows the soft aged pastels so beautifully.

The sea glass with the flickering candle is so lovely. I hope you win the "fishies" give-away.

I love this vignette Alison! I have to see whether there is still time this vacation to go to the sea and search for 'sea glass'. Shells are no problem, I have collected them over the years, two buckets full on a secret hiding place, so secret I couldn't even find them myself last time I was looking for them ;-)
No I'm of to Barbara Jacksier, thanks for letting us know, have a great day!

Hi Alison!
Love your sea glass, it looks so pretty with the candle glowing. We have a couple more trips planned to my parents beach house before school starts. The girls and I can't wait to get back to our search for more sea glass.

It's so lovely..., and such a great idea to place a tea light in the middle. Love your header! I have a weakness for beach huts and featured them on both of my blogs.

OMG, I love sea glass!! It's so pretty! I have never found any myself. Our beaches here are not known for that.

I love sea glass. We only get to the beach once a year but in all my trips there I've only found one piece of sea glass. You must have a secret! LOL
It does look very pretty in your lamp too!
