WINTER IS COMING

TOMORROW IT IS WINTER
Tomorrow sees the first day of Winter for us Aussie girls.
Time to bring out all those Winter woolies.
Let us hope for some rain here in Victoria
as our water storage level is down to 26.3%.
This morning we have beautiful blue skies and sunshine.
Thought I would just stroll around the garden
and see what is still around.

Not a bunch of coconuts
but a bunch of lemons
Love the colour of this ajuga

IT CAME EARLY

WHAT THE???
You may ask
What is she talking about?
What came early???
MOTHERS DAY of course!!
Well it was Mother’s Day for me yesterday.
For the first time since becoming a mother I won’t be with my children on Mother’s Day.

Amy, Daniel, me, Michael, Melanie
Click on pic. to make bigger if you want to
The girls are not really way taller than me they were standing on tippy toes!!
The kids, their partners and the grandchildren came for lunch.
I love it when they all get together. Every Wednesday we all get together for dinner and that is fabulous too but on Sunday they came for an early Mothers Day lunch. Always lots of chatter and laughter accompanied by great food and drinks.
Mothers Day was early because on Wednesday Max and I are flying over to Singapore to visit my brother Greg and his wife Judy.
My brother has worked there for about 8 years and we have never been over.
When I booked the cheap flights I never realised it was so near Mothers Day.
Never mind, they will survive without their Mum being around.
We come back from Singapore on 18th May
AWARD
The lovely Amy from Crafting by Candlelight has given me
the Makes My Heart Smile award.

Thanks Amy.
