TIME
I don't seem to be able to find the time to get out my art supplies and create anything.
My supplies take up too much room. The room I was using as my creative space now has a bed and gets used by the grandchildren a few times a week so there is no way I can leave anything half done on my desk .
So I have decided to get back to embroidery as my main artwork.
Linen, threads, a needle and an old watch to remind me to take the time to create.
It will help me sit and relax yet still create
SUNDAY IN MELBOURNE
On Sunday we went to Melbourne (just over an hours drive)
We went for a walk along the Yarra River

It looks like a glorious day Alison. We are getting your wet weather here, not nice!
Keep trying to find time to be creative!
HI Alison
You just made me want to dig out my embroidery stuff too! Dylan is always in to everything so at least I could stash my embroidery stuff under my bed where he can't see it.....
Can't wait to see what you make!

I love the idea of having the watch with your crafting supplies Alison - a great reminder that we need to do something for ourselves each day too.
Enjoy your sewing,

Melbourne is a great place to be in Autumn isn't it? Let's just hope Winter goes quickly :) and that you get more time to do what you love!
Isn't it funny how time gets away from us as we get older, especially when there are little ones around.
Your photos are beautiful! I LOVE that old watch...been wanting to start a new collection of watches and clocks.
What a lovely river to walk by!
Have fun with your embroidering!:)

Hi Alison!
Wow girl, I totally know what you mean by not having the time to create. In your case, you've lost your "space" but I love how you will take up embroidery to fill the need to create again. I wish I knew how...I love seeing embroidery art. It's on my list of things to learn ;)
